Jobby privacy policy
10 October 2026
This policy is for the Jobby mobile app. It describes what Jobby collects, how that information is used, and how to ask for it to be deleted.
Information the app collects
Jobby can collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Account id
- Precise location
- Approximate location
- Photos
- In-app messages
- A device push token
An account requires a name, an email address, and a password. Location, photos, messages, and the push token are optional: you can decline those permissions or skip those features.
This data is not sold. Jobby does not use the Advertising ID and does not show ads.
How the information is used
Location is used to show nearby jobs. When you search for an address, that search is sent to LocationIQ, a service provider, so the address can be looked up.
Photos are stored on the app’s object storage (S3) so they can be shown in the app.
Name, email address, phone number, account id, and in-app messages are stored on Jobby’s own server. They are not sold. The phone number and email address on a profile stay private until an offer is agreed.
Data is sent over HTTPS.
Account deletion
Jobby does not delete an account automatically from inside the app. You can request deletion by email at islambouderbala@gmail.com, or by using the account deletion page at https://api.jobby.logicrulesfactory.com/delete-account.
When a deletion request is completed, the account profile, messages, photos, and push token are deleted.
The same email address is the contact for privacy questions.
